Children's Badminton Coaching Class 7 -12 years

Aimed at Beginners to Intermediate players

This sessions provides an opportunity for young players to try a new sport, or for those that have played at school or with family. It will focus on learning skills required for badminton. The players will be introduced to grips, technique, footwork, the shots needed for the game, scoring and play lots of fun games.

In this session we have access to all 5 badminton courts at Lees Brook Academy and we have other coaches appointed to support the children of varying levels.

Due to exams in the sports hall the following classes have been moved to the University of Derby DE22 1GB all other weeks are at Lees Brook Academy.

• 11th, 18th, 25th May

• 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd 29th June

There are no sessions on May 4th (Bank Holiday) and May 25th (Half Term and bank holiday)

This course requires a block booking for the term, however children can sign up for 1 FREE taster session only . After the first taster session the coach will happily discuss the next steps with the parent/guardian to support.

The age is a guideline and younger children that can strike over the net would be welcome to join this beginners class.
