Children's Badminton Coaching Class 11-16 years

Aimed at Intermediate to Emerging level players

The session is most suitable to children that have played at school, in a club or with family.

This session works on previous skills learnt such as shots, movement and grips but provides more information to advance their play. There will be match play and focus on tactics.

The age is a guideline but if children are progressing to this level before the age of 11 they will be invited to this session as a trial.

All the current sessions are led by Donna Kellogg an Olympian 2000, 2004, and 2008, World, European and Comonwealth Games Medallist and former Professional Badminton Player.

This course requires a block booking for the term, however children can sign up for1 taster session only and then if they would like to continue please sign up for the remainder of the term. After the first taster session the coach will happily discuss the next steps with the parent/guardian to support.

Children can bring along their own racket or I have rackets that can be borrowed at the session. Once the child is settled into the class and enjoying their badminton we would recommend the child purchasing their own racket.
